This policy explains how Spivak Plumbing handles information sent through this website.
What the form collects
The inquiry form asks for your name, phone number, email address, property type, service needed, service address, postal code and message. Please do not send payment-card details, identification documents or other sensitive information through the form. We use the information to answer your request, discuss the job and arrange work if you choose to proceed.
Your choice
The consent box beside the form explains that your details will be used to respond. An inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. You can call or email instead. You may withdraw consent for further inquiry follow-up by contacting us, subject to information we must retain for an existing transaction or a legal requirement.
Who handles the information
Messages are sent to adam@spivakplumbing.ca. Hosting and email providers process information to operate the site and deliver messages. For questions about the providers involved or where your inquiry is processed, contact adam@spivakplumbing.ca. Information may be disclosed where required by law or to handle the service you request. We do not sell inquiry details.
Storage and security
The theme does not save the inquiry as a WordPress post or store its text in browser storage. Delivered messages and any business correspondence remain in the company’s email or records systems. Mail and hosting systems may keep logs and backups. Access should be limited to people who need the information for the inquiry or job. No internet form or email system can promise absolute security.
Retention
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond, arrange the work, maintain required business records or resolve questions about a job. When it is no longer needed, it should be securely deleted or made anonymous. You can contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion. Legal recordkeeping requirements may limit what can be deleted. Hosting and email backups can have their own deletion schedules.
Spam protection and site operation
The theme uses a hidden spam field, a form security token and short-lived counters. It uses a salted hash of the connection address for rate limits, plus a salted message fingerprint to prevent duplicate sending. These controls retain hashes and timestamps, not the inquiry text. The base theme adds no advertising or analytics trackers. WordPress login cookies apply to signed-in users. The owner must update this policy if other tools add data collection or cookies.
Access, correction or a privacy concern

We may need to verify your identity before disclosing records. Access is subject to applicable exceptions.
