A toilet that keeps running or a faucet that drips should not be part of the daily routine. Spivak Plumbing repairs and installs toilets, faucets, sinks, showers and tubs. We also handle garbage disposals and dishwasher or washer hookups for homes across Toronto and York Region.

Repair the fault you actually have
Tell us whether the fixture leaks constantly, only when used or somewhere underneath. A worn part inside a faucet is different from a leak at a supply connection. For a toilet, describe what happens after flushing and where water appears. The condition of the fixture and availability of matching parts help determine whether repair or replacement is the sensible next step.
Buying a replacement fixture
Check the installation requirements before ordering. A sink needs to fit the cabinet and countertop. A faucet needs the right mounting arrangement. A toilet needs space and compatible connection positions. If you already have a model in mind, send its specifications. Moving a fixture or changing its configuration can add work beyond swapping one product for another. We can discuss that before installation is booked.
Appliance hookups
For a dishwasher or washing machine, tell us whether the appliance is staying in the same place. A new location may need changes to both water supply and drainage. A garbage disposal needs suitable sink connections and enough cabinet space. Clarify who is responsible for work outside the plumbing scope. Keep manufacturer instructions with the appliance so the installation requirements are available.
Make the visit useful
A list of the fixtures needing attention helps when arranging work in Vaughan, Thornhill or Aurora. Share product numbers where you have them and keep the area under sinks accessible. If a shut-off valve does not operate properly, mention that as well. For a bathroom or kitchen being renovated, tell us the sequence so fixtures are connected when the surrounding work is ready. Have any available product instructions or previous service records ready for the discussion. They can help identify what has changed and what still needs to be checked at the property.
